LOCAL LEADERS, ELECTED OFFICIALS, ENTREPRENEURS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS GATHER TO CELEBRATE THE CENTER BY SIDIS IN LOUISVILLE

Grand Opening Celebration at 900 E. Main Street Building Attended by Hundreds at the Official Unveiling of the City’s Newest Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub

(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The Center by SIDIS officially opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, for a grand opening celebration and official ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by over 300 community members and supporters. Built in 1865 and formerly the DeHart Paint & Varnish Co., The Center is now home to some of Louisville’s most inspiring and innovative entrepreneurs including Lifelines Neuro Company, Story Louisville, Adaptive Endo, the Wild Accelerator and Maddox & Rose Marketplace, the renovation of the historic building began in 2016.

Led by SIDIS executive Bryan Ehret and with support from partners PNC Bank and Dan Dunlevy and Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Partnership (LEAP), the three-year renovation process at 900 East Main Street concluded earlier this month. Keynote remarks were offered by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, SIDIS Founder and CEO Nigel Ferrey, and President and CEO of Greater Louisville Inc. Kent Oyler.

“We are thrilled to have such incredible community support for The Center by SIDIS,” said Nigel Ferrey, SIDIS President and CEO. “Along with my SIDIS colleagues and partners, we look forward to continuing to invest in local innovators and entrepreneurs and deepening our commitment to Kentucky.”
